Wait, wait, wait. You’re telling me that planes used to have buffets and bars on them? Shit, man.

A coach pub with electronic Pong in a cocktail cabinet, no less. Of course one can still play Pong in-flight if they really wanted to, but it only takes up a minute amount of data in a pocket-sized gadget that the government doesn’t want us using at certain points of the flight.

Legendary Los Angeles Dodgers announcer Vin Scully did a series of television commercials extolling the virtues of Continental’s DC-10 pub service in the 1970s. This was when CO was headquartered in Los Angeles, before the Texas Air Group buyout would move them to Houston.
