On a personal note, I own a really nice model of a Western DC-10. Of all places, I found it at a pawn shop. I’ll post pics once I get my camera back.

In the 1980s, Western updated their “Flying W” livery with a shadowed W on bare metal. Internally, employees called this scheme “Bud Light”.

Morris Air’s fleet of 737-300s were just the right fit for Southwest, who themselves made it a point to operate nothing but the popular Boeing twin.
