Short-lived. Ceased in 2007 (Michael McLaughlin)
MAXjet was an up-market trans-Atlantic airline that was headquartered in the US but had it’s main hub at Stansted Airport outside of London, England. Their all-business class product earned them a place in Travel + Leisure’s Top 10 International Airlines list in 2007, and linked Stansted with Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York-JFK, and Washington-Dulles.
MAXjet ceased operations on Christmas Eve of 2007; citing increasing fuel and labor costs.
